Etude House's Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-talk in JOR201, JOR203

Good Afternoon beautiful!
Etude House's Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-talk in JOR201 & JOR2013

I'll be reviewing two of my lately go-to lipsticks from Etude House's delicious line, Sweet Recipe! Let's take a look shall we? :)

This is yet another gift that I received from Bora (she my bestie!) a few weeks ago and I couldn't thank her enough for getting me such adorable lipsticks!

I used to not like wearing lipstick because I kinda had this silly idea that if I accidentally consumed a little of the lipstick on on my lips while eating or drinking... I would die from the chemicals. That wasn't a joke everybody... but go ahead and laugh all you want :) Don't worry, I'm okay now. That silly idea had gone bye-bye when I first met this Jelly lips-talk!

I can't possibly tell you how much I love these stuff because they're just that great. I love how sheer they are and yet the color payoff is still excellent! Not only does it feel moisture and well hydrated on my lips, it also gives you a very watery, and jelly-like effect just by looking at it.

Let's talk about the scent! As obvious as it may sound, the lipsticks has a heavy sweet jellybean scent to them which could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste. I know mama19 hates it because it apparently smells like liquorice to her... which happens to be her least favorite jellybean flavor. I personally didn't like it at first because it did smell a little bit too heavy and overly sweet... and the scent would last for quite a while after applying it on the lips too. But because I adore this baby so much, I tried to get used to it and it doesn't bother me that much now. After all.. to love someone is to accept their flaws right?

I'm not gonna talk a lot about the packaging because it's pretty simple and what you see (in the picture) is what you get. To be honest, I was disappointed at the cheap-looking packaging at first... and I still am... but what can I say? At least the quality of the product is decent enough for me to overlook this tiny imperfection.

Out of the two shades I own, I would say the orange shade (JOR201) is the sheerest and  it takes a few more swatches  before the color actually comes out clearly. Nonetheless, this is still my favorite shade out of the two because I'm deeply obsessed with coral and orange nowadays.

Shade JOR203 is a quite a vibrant red and possibly one of the most pigmented shade out the entire range.

As you can see,  JOR203 comes off more pigmented than JOR201 after just one swatch.  It takes a couple more swatches for JOR201 to stand out as visible as JOR203.

So that was pretty much it for what I have to say about these lovely lipsticks! Aren't they just gorgeous? Though I'm absolutely loving the texture and all for the Dear My Jelly Lips-talk line, I don't think I'll be purchasing any other shade from this line in the near future because it looks like these two shades are the most suitable for my skin color after all. Overall, I'd give these lipsticks a 4.9 out of 5.
I deducted that .1 point for the scent and cheap-looking packaging.

Accidentally broke my JOR201 while swatching :(
clumsy Nineteen will forever be clumsy... sigh.
Don't worry! I fixed it back so it's allll good now!
